October 26, 2006 — DCist Blurb The Object Lesson
Calling their music "distractions in space", D.C. based The Object Lesson display a seemingly singular fascination with the final frontier. A look at their lyrics soon reveals that would-be astronauts get lonely too. According to one review, what sets the band apart is it's singer. "The vocalist's voice is just so brooding and deep and sexy and manly and you almost feel like he's singing at you." Only one way to find out for sure. Saturday at the Velvet Lounge.
